Get Involved

For Farmers and Landowners

Have a conservation project you'd like implemented on your farm? Heartland Conservation Fund (HCF) can help with funding your project. The conservation agronomists housed at Heartland Co-op can help you get started and will manage the implementation of your project, providing agronomic guidance and administrative oversight along the way.

Note that to be eligible for funding from the Heartland Conservation Fund you must farm or own land in Iowa. As our fund grows, we are only currently prioritizing the following practices.

For Sponsors and Donors

Gifts to Heartland Conservation Fund's endowment will make a lasting impact on conservation in Iowa.

Our initial fundraising goal for our endowment is $1,000,000 after which point we will begin funding our conservation priority practices. We will increase our contributions to farmers for conservation practices once our fund reaches it's principal balance of $5,000,000.
